Attariya, Nov 10: Minister of State for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment in Far West State, Prakash Rawal, has rendered his resignation today.
Rawal submitted his resignation letter to State's Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta on moral grounds. He was accused of being involved in fudging the share documents in Kanchanpur.
"I request an impartial investigation into the allegation against me. May truth prevail. I pledge my full cooperation for the investigation," read a press statement Rawal issued.
He stressed, "I am tendering my resignation being guided by the principle that justice should prevail."
Rawal, who was elected as a State Assembly member from Kanchanpur Constituency No 3 'A' was appointed to the post of Minister of State for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment in Far West State on October 9, 2018.
