Arghakhanchi, Sept 28: Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Chakrapani Khanal has opined to make strong quarantine check in importing pesticides.
Speaking in a health camp here in the district headquarters in Sandhikharka, Minister Khanal said that the government will strictly monitor the use of pesticides in consumable goods.
He also stressed on increasing the use of local fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizer in farming. About 1,500 locals benefited from the health camp.
