Kathmandu, Jan. 6: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Parbat Gurung has directed the Advertisement Board to work effectively.
Speaking at the fourth full meeting of the board on Tuesday at Singhadurbar, Minister Gurung, who is also the Spokesperson of the government, said that the board should work effectively in order to utilise the billions rupees that is spent on commercials.
He also suggested conducting necessary discussion with the experts and formulating a strategic plan. “You must not delay to get the suggestions from the experts to make the board effective. Let’s make the strategic plan at the earliest,” he said.
Minister Gurung urged the board to prepare its action plan by the end of the second week of January.
The meeting has decided to prepare the national policy for advertisement.
