By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr. 19: The meeting of the organising committee for the General Convention of the ruling CPN-UML has kicked off at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.
Iswari Rijal, office secretary of CPN-UML, said, “Discussions as to the latest political developments and organisational management of the party will be held in the meeting.”
The meeting will conclude the party’s official view regarding the ongoing political happenings, said Rijal.
The parliamentary party of CPN-UML in Karnali Province had recommended removing Prakash Jwala, Kurma Raj Shahi, Nanda Singh Budha and Amar Bahadur Thapa from the party for working against the party’s whip.
“The parliamentary party of the CPN-UML in Karnali Province might present the proposal regarding the punishment in the central committee meeting and the meeting might adopt the recommendation,” added Rijal.
