Medical consultation to be taken to decide about PM’s kidney transplant

Kathmandu, Dec 4 (RSS):   
A secretariat meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) decided to take a decision in regard with kidney transplant of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli after medical consultation as his health has improved significantly.    
    
The meeting took place at the party headquarters Dhumbarahi agreed to further consult with doctors on the issue as he is presently under dialysis, said party's Spokesperson Narayankaji Shrestha.    
    
He is recuperating at the Maharajgunj-based Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre after the successful appendectomy. The dialysis procedures are going on as per the need, according to him.    
    
"What will be the next will be decided through medical consultation once the ongoing treatment process will be over," NCP spokesperson Shrestha said.    
Besides, the meeting decided to review about the recently held by-election only after receiving the review reports from lower-level committees.    
    
As he said, the party has so far received no reports of intra-party deception during the by-election, even though it will be reviewed after the district, local and ward committees send their review reports.    
The Secretariat Committee is scheduled to meet again at 9:00 am on December 9 at the party headquarters.     
According to him, the party instantly expelled a defecting candidate from the party at Ghorahi municipality, Dang. The party lost the post of mayor at the Dharan metropolis and the State Assembly member at Bhaktapur 1(a) in the November 30 by-election held for all three levels.
