Kathmandu, July 21: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to make the government effective by bringing a minimum common programme as per the spirit of the political parties joining the government.
A party standing committee meeting held at the party office, Perisdanda on Wednesday decided to bring the common programme and implement it through the government, said party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha.
"It is necessary for the coalition government to follow a minimum common programme and common commitments. So members of the taskforce have been directed in bringing such programme," he said.
The meeting however did not discuss party's participation in the government, he said, adding that but discussions were underway with other coalition partners in the government. 'We will give full shape to the government after discussions with other coalition partners as it is appropriate for the government to represent all parties."
