By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept 22: A meeting of the Standing Committee of the ruling CPN (Maoist Center) has delegated the power to select government ministers from the party to the party chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.
"A meeting of the five ruling parties is being held shortly. The Cabinet will be expanded by tomorrow, and in this context, our meeting decided to entrust the Chairman with the responsibility to select ministers from the party to be included in the Council of Ministers," Maoist Center spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara told the reporters after the meeting at the party headquarters, Paris Danda.
He said that the party meeting also decided to forward a proposal for bringing in a replacement bill for the ordinance related to the political party split.
