Palpa, June 2: A person quarantined after returning from India has died during treatment on Tuesday. The 45-year-old man from Purbakhola Rural Municipality-2 died while receiving treatment at United Mission Hospital, according to Jivan Bhattarai, administrative officer at hospital.
The man was taken to at the hospital after he complained difficulty in respiration. Health section chief of the Purbakhola Rural Municipality, Mohan Gyawali, shared that the person was earlier kept at quarantine in Tansen from Sunday night and shifted to another quarantine of Purbakhola on Monday.
The report on test for COVID-19 is yet to come, according to the Health Office, Palpa.
