By Navin Shishir BK, Baglung, Sept. 22: Baglung road section of the Madhya Pahadi Logmark, mid-hill people's highway, has been resumed one way after 15 hours of its obstruction due to landslides on Monday evening at Laleri.
Dhal Prasad Sherchan, Ward Chair, said that four families had been displaced as the landslides hit their houses.
A local micro-hydro power has been obstructed as the landslip has swept away electricity poles with wires and that supply of drinking water to 45 households has also been disrupted as the landslides also swept away water reservoir tank of the Rakshe Drinking Water Project.
Following the resumption of the traffic, vehicles of short and long route have started to operate including those from Badigard Rural Municipality, Dhorpatan Municipality, Tamanakhola Rural Municipality and Nisikhola Rural Municipality.
Out of 1,776 km of the Pushpa Lal Madhya Pahadi Logmarg, some 137 km long road section goes through Baglung.
