Kathmandu, May 15: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokhrel Friday said that the government would now focus on freeing the people from the coronavirus.
Assuming the office at Singha Durbar today, he said that the entire attention of the government would now be focused on the treatment, prevention and control of coronavirus infection.
"We are now focused on the treatment of the people infected with coronavirus, management of equipment and hospitals and the encouragement of the doctors and health workers," said Pokhrel, who is also the coordinator of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre (CCMC).
