By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr. 7: Newly appointed Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Govinda Prasad Sharma Koirala (Bandi) assumed his office today.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari had appointed Minister Sharma to the post as per the recommendation by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Newly appointed Minister Sharma took the oath of office and secrecy from President Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas and then reached his ministry at 2 pm for assuming the office.
Prime Minister Deuba has allotted the portfolio of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies to Minister Dilendra Badu, who has been the Minister for Law. The Prime Minister was looking after the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
