Sindhupalchowk, Aug 7: Laptops have been handed over to all the teachers of the Satkanya Secondary School in Ratmata of Melamchi Municipality-9.
The laptops were procured from the budget of Rs. 650,000 allocated to the school in the fiscal year 2077/78 BS under the President Educational Reforms Program. Head Teacher of the School, Janak Adhikari shared that laptops have been handed over to 15 teachers, with the teachers bearing 30 per cent of the cost for it.
Chair of Ward No. 9 of the municipality, Kamal Bahadur Khadka handed over the laptop to the teachers at a program held on Friday.
Technology-friendly teaching and learning activities will be conducted within the next year by imparting necessary training to all the teachers using the audio-visual medium, said headteacher Adhikari.
