Kathmandu, Feb. 19: Gorkhapatra Corporation is launching its Kohalpur edition from Saturday, targeting the readers of three western provinces.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to inaugurate the Kohalpur edition. He will also inaugurate the Kohalpur publication building of the corporation.
Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki will be present in the inauguration ceremony.
Two dailies of the corporation, Gorkhapatra and The Rising Nepal, will now be published from Kohalpur, Banke, targeting the readers of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The publication of Kohalpur edition of the two dailies had begun two years ago, but was closed in lack of printing machines and due to COVID-19.
