By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 6: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Friday confirmed 1,338 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.
Of the total 2,909 new infections recorded across the nation, 1,338 new cases, 570 females and 768 males, were recorded in the Valley itself.
Currently, there are 15,001 active cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu. The capital city's COVID-19 tally stands at 69,479 including 54,216 cases of recoveries and 262 fatalities.
Likewise, Bhaktapur has recorded 6353 infections until now of which, 5,042 patients have already recovered while 69 succumbed to the infection. There are 1,242 active cases in Bhaktapur.
Lalitpur district has recorded 9,850 cases of novel coronavirus infection until now including 7,558 recoveries and 66 deaths. Currently, there are 2,226 active cases in Lalitpur.
