Kathmandu, Jan 28: A joint meeting of the Chief District Officers of all the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley will be held on Friday to review the ongoing smart lockdown.
A joint meeting of all the three district administration offices of the Kathmandu Valley is being held to review the order issued in the Kathmandu Valley for the prevention and control of the new variant of Coronavirus Omicron infection, said Govinda Prasad Rijal, CDO of Kathmandu disrict said.
He said that the meeting would be held in the afternoon.
He said that a meeting of all the three CDOs held on January 22 would review the orders implemented.
"What was the effect of the order issued earlier? We will now discuss which order to continue and which to open, " he said. There are complaints from commuters that the current odd-even public transport system is not effective and that it has increased congestion and increased the risk.
