By Mukunda Gaire, Kathmandu, Dec. 17: The Kathmandu District Administration Office (DAO) has decided to lift the odd-even traffic rule.
Issuing a notice on Thursday, the Kathmandu DAO informed that the decision would come into effect from Friday, December 18.
Meanwhile, the DAO has warned to punish those public vehicles that defy the health and safety measures prescribed by the office as per the Infectious Disease Act, 2020.
The rule was imposed on September 17 with an aim to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus by controlling unnecessary crowding of people.
