By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May. 9: A meeting between Chairman of the central committee of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Mahantha Thakur and another JSP leader Rajendra Mahato has concluded.
The meeting had taken place today at Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba's residence in Budhanilkantha.
Dr. Surendra Kumar Jha, leader of JSP said, "The meeting reached to a conclusion that JSP would remain neutral if the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led faction of the ruling CPN-UML resign."
Leader Jha said that the party had decided to remain neutral after the main opposition NC signaled that they would not provide the vote of confidence to the government and not present no confidence motion at the parliament in the special session called on May 10.
"Possibilities of forming another alliance even if CPN-UML do not unite has declined," he said.
