By Aasha Shah, Kathmandu, May. 13: Meeting between Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Mahanta Thakur and senior leader Rajendra Mahato is currently going on at a resort in Bhaktapur.
A leader of JSP informed The Rising Nepal that a meeting between Chairman Thakur, senior leader Mahato and other JSP leaders was being held at Bhaktapur.
After the Prime Minister failed to obtain the vote of confidence in the House of Representatives, President Bidya Devi Bhandari had given time till 9:00 pm today to form a new government with a majority.
As the deadline given by President Bhandari is about to end, the leaders of all political parties are rapidly holding talks.
Chairman Thakur had held a meeting with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, the meeting between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal is ongoing. A source at Baluwatar said that the meeting was held to resolve all the differences within the party.
Likewise, NC President Deuba is currently in conversation with the Chairman of NCP (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' at Budhanilkantha.
