Dharbendra Jha, Janakpurdham, Jan. 17: Janakpurdham has been named as the provincial capital of Province 2.
A two-thirds majority of the provincial members in the provincial assembly meeting of the Province 2 held today voted for making Janakpurdham the provincial capital of Province 2.
Of the 99 provincial assembly members present today in the meeting, 78 voted for Janakpurdham in the proposal that Janakpurdham be fixed as the provincial capital of Province 2.
