Baniyani, Feb 6 : Police have arrested two Indian nationals from Mechinagar, Jhapa along with the narcotics, brown sugar. Among the arrested are Mohammad Sultan, 25, and Ranjit Ganesh, 27, of Chunilal village in Darjeeling, India.
Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Jhapa, Deputy Superintendent of Police Basanta Pathak said that they were arrested on Saturday along with 15 grams of brown sugar.
A patrol team from Jamirgadhi Police Post and Armed Police Force (BOP) Jamirgadhi conducted a search operation on suspicion and recovered the banned substance from them.
They have been held at the Area Police Office, Dhulabari and further investigation is underway, police said.
