Kathmandu, Nov. 4: Inspector General of the Armed Police Force (APF) Shailendra Khanal on Monday inspected various units in Gandaki State, meeting and interacting with junior personnel staying in isolation and quarantine.
He inspected No. 4 Muktinath Brigade in Pokhara, No. 23 Manakamana Battalion in Tanahun, No. 24 Kalika Battalion in Pokhara, Riot Control Management Training School Pokhara and Gorkha Company.
During inspection, IGP Khanal instructed the armed police personnel to fulfill their responsibilities with high discipline and sincerity.
Khanal urged the coronavirus-infected staff members living in isolation not to panic and assured them that the organisation would do its best for the treatment of its employees.
Mentioning that the whole organisation is discredited due to the mischief of one staff, IGP Khanal instructed them not to do anything that would discredit the organisation.
"We are setting up schools at the regional level for quality education of the children of the Armed Police Force and hospitals at the regional level for health care," Khanal added.
