By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sep. 30: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been postponed till October 5, Tuesday.
In the meeting of the HoR held on Thursday at 1:00 pm, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota had read out the letters concerning the debt recovery bill and certification of the economic bill issued by the office of the President.
Speaker Sapkota had also provided time to Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Bahadur Karki to present the 58th annual report of the Office of Auditor General on behalf of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
As the members of the main opposition CPN-UML were sloganeering in the meeting, the Speaker reminded the lawmakers from the opposition party that discussions over issues sub-judice in the court could not be held in the parliament.
The CPN-UML had started obstructing the house as soon as the session began.
Today's HoR session took place only for eight minutes.
