By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 28: The hearing on writ petitions against the dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR) in the constitutional bench has been adjourned for today. The next hearing will be held on Sunday, May 30.
Devendra Dhakal, information officer at the Supreme Court said, "The hearing took place till 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon and it will continue on coming Sunday."
The hearing on 30 writ applications concerning the dissolution of HoR by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had officially begun in the constitutional bench of the Top Court from today.
Earlier today, Chief Justice Cholendra Sumsher JB Rana had formed the constitutional bench with justices Deepak Kumar Karki, Dr. Ananda Mohan Bhattarai, Tej Bahadur KC, and Bam Kumar Shrestha alongside him.
