Chitwan, Feb 24 : Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa has said the export-oriented economy should be made stronger.
He said this while inaugurating the 'trade analysis and export promotion training' organised by Trade and Export Promotion Centre Kathmandu in Ratnanagar today.
He stressed on the need of improving the economy by making a realistic analysis of industry, trade and the economic policy.
The Home Minister urged the sides concerned to increase exports by boosting the production, saying the government has accorded high priority to strengthening the internal security system.
"The Ministry of Home Affairs is working to boost the morale of the security personnel. Works on construction of new police stations and reconstruction of the existing ones is going on," he said. The government has expedited the development for augmenting the national aspiration - 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali'.
The Ratnanagar Chamber of Commerce and Industry is facilitating the five-day training.
