By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 7: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 213 new cases of COVID-19 today.
As many as 213 persons, including 209 males and four females tested positive for the virus in PCR test done at various hospitals and laboratories across the country, informed Dr Bikash Devkota, spokesperson of the ministry, in the daily press briefing today.
The virus has now spread in 71 out of 77 districts.
Meanwhile, 102 COVID-19 patients including two females and 100 males have been discharged from hospital in the last 24 hours, after recovering from the virus infection.
With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 3,448 including 467 cases of recovery and 13 cases of death.
The remaining patients are receiving treatment in various hospitals nationwide.
