Kathmandu, June 3: The Ministry of Health and Population has issued guidelines including provisions to run isolation wards in all hospitals and treatment of COVID-19 patients in minor condition in home-based isolation.
The 'COVID-19 case isolation management guidelines, 2077' was endorsed on June 2 and issued today. Accordingly, only the patients that require hospital-based treatment including ventilator will be admitted to the dedicated hospitals.
Meanwhile, the Ministry is also preparing to announce public health disaster situation, as Nepal enters level-2 with more than 2,000 cases of Corona Virus. The Ministry has also amended the procedures regulating the body management of those who die from Corona Virus.
