Kathmandu, May 21: The government Thursday decided to recommend to President Bidya Devi Bhandari to summon the budget session of the House of Representatives.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the official residence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Baluwatar recommended to the President to call the budget session of the HoR on May 23, according to Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Lilanath Shrestha.
"It has been decided to recommend to the President to convene a budget session of the House of Representatives on May 23," Shrestha said.
The Cabinet meeting has also decided to recommend to the President for a call to the representatives in the HoR for the formation of a government under Article 76 (5) of the Constitution, said Minister Shrestha.
