Lisbon, Feb 23 : Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has said the government would provide full security to the business and investment of non-resident Nepalis (NRN).
At an interaction organised by Non-Resident Nepali Association in at Barcelona, Spain, on Saturday, Minister Gyawali stated that the government was active to resolve the problems of all Nepalis.
Also inaugurating the Visit Nepal Year 2020 in Spain, he urged the NRNs to send foreigners to visit Nepal. He reminded, "Laws related to social, cultural and economic rights of NRNs have been formulated. The bill which is under consideration in the parliament will be passed soon. It is in favour of NRNs."
On the occasion, discussion was also held on Nepali Citizenship Bill, diplomatic relations between Spain and Nepal and VNY-2020.
Saying the Nepali Embassy was active continuously to resolve the problems of Nepali community in Spain, Nepali Ambassador to Spain, Dawa Phuti Sherpa, shared information that the Embassy was planning to collaborate with different organisations for the publicity of the VNY-2020.
Foreign Minister arrived in Spain in course of his visit to Switzerland to take part in 43rd high-level meeting of United Nations Human Rights Council taking place in Geneva.
