Kathmandu, Mar. 13: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the government is positive to solve the problem of citizenship in the Terai.
He said that during a meeting with leaders of the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party on Saturday.
Prime Minister Deuba said that all the political parties should work together to solve the national problem and for that, all parties must help the government.
According to Bhanu Deuba, Chief Personal Secretary of the Prime Minister, the leaders of the LSP had demanded to resolve the problem of citizenship in the Terai and free the accused implicated during the Tarai movement.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Deuba also urged all the political parties to participate in the election organising thee election activities in a peaceful manner.
During the meeting, LSP Chairman Mahanta Thakur, leaders Rajendra Mahato, Sarvendranath Shukla and others were present.
