Hetauda, Sept 15: State 3 Chief Minister, Dormani Poudel, said on Sunday that thousands of children were out of school and that they were forced to be child labour in risky condition.
Giving a message on the occasion of the National Children's Day, CM Poudel said that the government was bringing concrete plan and programmes to end the child labour. "All sides should be aware for the holistic development of children by ending all kinds of violence, exploitation and ill treatment to them," he underscored.
The civil society, political parties and organizations had equal role to ensure child rights by enrolling the children in schools. Various measures as midday meal and free education could be adopted to ensure children's right to education, he stressed.
