Kathmandu, Nov 10 : The price of gold has begun falling due to the influence of the drop in its price in the international market.
Hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 94,800 per tola (11.66 grammes), the price of the gold went down by Rs 3,400 per per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association of Nepal.
The precious metal was priced at Rs 98,200 until Monday.
The slump in the price applies to Tejabi (worked) gold (22 carats) as well. Its price has also decreased by Rs 3,400 per tola. The price of worked gold was Rs 97,700 on Monday.
Likewise, the price of silver has also fallen by Rs 70 per tola. It is priced at Rs Rs 1,215 from Rs 1,285 per tola on Monday.
