Kathmandu, May 28 : The ongoing prohibitory order in the Kathmandu Valley has been extended for a week more from today. The prohibitory order is extended till June 3.
The prohibitory order in the Kathmandu Valley is being enforced since April 29, restricting human mobility and closing the market except for the essential ones.
A meeting held on Tuesday, the District Administration Officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts decided to extend the prohibitory order till June 3.
During this period, groceries and departmental stores would remain closed while the individuals have been prevented from going morning and evening walks.
However, fruits, vegetable, dairy and meat shops, and drinking water and gas supplies would open till 9:00 am.
