By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 10: A delegation led by Véronique Riotton, President of the France-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group of the French House of Representatives, paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari today.
Matters related to the relationship between the two countries, issues of mutual interest, and concerns were shared during the meeting, according to the statement issued by Sagar Acharya, spokesperson of the Office of the President.
The French embassy in Nepal stated that the relationship between Nepal and France, 'particularly our common efforts on policies to be implemented controlling effects of climate change and on the strengthening of women position in political institutions' were discussed during the meeting.
