Kathmandu, Jan 20: The meeting of the five-party alliance coordination committee is being held on Thursday afternoon.
According to Ram Chandra Padel, coordinator of the coordination committee, further discussions will be held today on the issues raised earlier in the meeting at the PM's residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday.
In the previous meeting, it was agreed to hold local elections within the stipulated time as provided in the constitution. These and other issues are discussed, Padel said.
Similarly, Surya Kiran Sharma, Press Coordinator of CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', said that local level elections, parliament and other issues would be discussed in the meeting.
The meeting will be attended by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Coordinator of the Coordination Committee Ram Chandra Padel, Chairman of the Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', top leaders of the CPN (Unified Socialists), Janata Socialists and Rastriya Janamorcha.
