Taplejung, Dec 26 : The fire that broke out in the community forest in Pathibhara area has not still come under control.
Pathibhara is a famous pilgrimage site.
A forest fire has been raging at the Simbu Community Forest at Phawakhola of Phungling Municipality for the last three days.
A team of Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force and Nepali Army has left the district headquarters for the area this morning for bringing the fire under control, Chief District Officer Jharendra Prasad Chapagain said.
Locals in Pathibhara area have also mobilized for dousing the bush fire.
