Kathmandu, July 3: The Ministry of Finance has agreed to spend up to Rs. 7.72 billion for the election of the House of Representatives (HoR).
The Ministry has given authority to Election Commission Nepal to spend that amount for the election, according to a press statement released by the ministry.
For the operation and management of the HoR Election 2021, the amount will be spent on the election management and purchase of materials needed for it.
The MoF has assured that there won’t be a shortage of funds for the election, which is to be held in two phases.The elections will be held on November 12 and 19 of this year.
