Kathmandu, Feb. 13: Film Development Board (FDB) and British Council Nepal have jointly invited expressions of interest from film students, writers, researchers and professionals for a Rs. 60,000 grant to work on a Film Sector Timeline. The grant which will enable the recipient to work closely with the FDB’s archives officer.
The selected grantee will have to research existing literature and conduct key information interviews, produce a list of 100 major events in the film sector, organise a focus group discussion with established sector professionals and experts to finalise 500 key milestones, create a visual timeline listing dates and descriptions of the milestones with supporting testimonials sourced during research, interviews and the focus group discussion.
The deadline for the submission of the expressions is February 15.
The grant is expected to help design a visual timeline that will be installed at the Film Development Board’s office in Chabahil.
