Palpa, Jan. 3: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali said that the election to be held next year would put an end to all the problems emerging in the national politics.
Minister Gyawali has urged all to make good use of the election.
Terming Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s move constitutional and democratic, Minister Gyawali said that the election would solve all the problems and would lead politics on the right direction.
Speaking at a press meet, organised by the Palpa chapter of Federation of Nepalese Journalists in Tansen, Minister Gyawali urged all the political parties to stop agitation and take part in the polls.
“Once the problem is created, there is a need to go to the people for a solution. So we have decided to go for the fresh mandate. So I urged the agitating parties to join the election campaign,” he added.
Lately, the relation with India has been further strengthened, said Minister Gyawali, adding that the problems between the two countries would be resolved through diplomatic channels.
He further stressed on the need to establish Nepal-India relations on the basis of equality and amend all the unequal treaties and agreements reached entered in the past on the basis of equality.
Meanwhile, speaking at the cadres’ meeting organised by the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Minister Gyawali said from the very beginning some party leaders had been creating obstacles against the prime minister.
He clarified that the decision to go for a fresh mandate was taken because the government and prime minister were not supported by the people within the party.
