Kathmandu, Nov 17: Election symbols have been allotted to candidates of local levels for November 30 by-election on Sunday.
Assistant Spokesperson of the Election Commission, Surya Prasad Gautam, said that the election symbols were allotted to candidates in a peaceful environment.
With allocation of election symbols, the candidates have intensified their publicity. A total of 273 candidates for 48 posts in local-level are contesting in the by-election.
The candidates of local levels have got 10 days for the election publicity.
