Janakpurdham, Nov. 8: The vaccines against COVID-19 are being administered to everyone above 18 years of age in the Dhanusha district of Province 2 from December 10 to 14.
During an interaction programme with the media organised at the Health Office, Dhanusha, the office informed that the Vero Cell vaccine would be administered to people aged 18 and above across the district for five days starting from December 10.
Rajdev Yadav, Vaccine officer at the Health Office, said that the locals would be inoculated from the 631 vaccination centres set up in all 18 local levels of the district.
He informed that one health worker and two assistants were deployed in all 169 local levels of the district to continue the vaccination campaign. “We have also appointed vaccine supervisor at all centres,” Yadav said.
According to Yadav, the office has targeted to inoculate 100,000 people from December 10 to 14. “Those who have already been vaccinated with the first dose can also receive their second jab,” he said.
Moreover, Chief of the Dhanusha Health Office Yugal Kishor Yadav requested everyone to get vaccinated without any hesitance.
