Sunsari, Dec. 27: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki on Sunday said that the government had taken all kinds of initiatives for development. Speaking at the inauguration of black-topping the road in Harinagar Rural Municipality-2, he said the government was giving continuity to the development need as much as possible with available resources.
The road would link Ramnagar Bhutaha Bajar to Basantapur and Mannan Siddhiki’s home to Ram Kumar Gupta’s home.
Minister Karki said the Nepali Congress was a party that favoured development work and loved people.
Karki said wherever the NC secured victory development task got momentum there and these two roads would be blacktopped at the earliest.
Minister Karki complimented local representatives stating that after NC secured victory here the development, progress, governance and citizen-friendly tasks were conducted.
He said the rural municipality was located in his electoral constituency, adding he and the NC were developing backward areas keeping them in priority.
Karki said in the beginning problem identification occurred for development, coordination for resolving it and cooperation for solution. Karki said the NC was together with people and the development task would gain speed if people remained with the NC. NC Central Working Committee member Karki stressed to secure victory in local, provincial and federal election by ending factionalism in the party. Karki also said ending factionalism and securing victory in local, provincial and
federal election NC should involve in interest of the party.
Karki said the democratic exercise of the NC now concluded overcoming factionalism and internal problems. He further urged the party cadres not to act against the party’s policy and principles.
Minister Karki said the party would evaluate genuine and capable people serving the party for long.
Likewise, Karki on Sunday interacted with students of Saptakoshi Multiple Camus at Baraha Chhetra Municipality’s Chakraghati. He announced to build 50-bed hospital in public land occupied by the campus. He said the hospital building would be constructed within two years after getting the land.
