By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 16: A protest has been staged against Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact by sister organisations of CPN (Maoist Center) and other political parties as well today in different parts of the country.
Scuffles between the demonstrators and the police occurred during the protest and some demonstrators have been held by the police.
The police resorted to baton charges and also water cannon to disperse the protesters here at New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
