Kathmandu, June 4: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall all over Nepal for another three days from Wednesday.

In India, the landfall process has started, with Nisarga dropping heavy rains and winds gusting at 120 km per hour, informed Poudel. Nepal will observe moderate to heavy rainfall on Friday and Saturday.
Meteorologist Poudel also said that the pre-monsoon had already started in Nepal while the monsoon would start from 10th to 12th June.
Meanwhile, there is a possibility of normal rain in all the states

except Karnali and Far West on Wednesday. He informed that there was normal cloud cover in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim and State 1 and the weather was clear in other places.
In India, at least 100,000 people have been moved to safer places, where the storm threatens to flood the beaches and low-lying slumps. Cyclone Amphan had devastated eastern city of India, Kolkata, killing at least 84 people across India and Bangladesh recently.
