Kavre Oct 23: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota said on Wednesday that criminalisation in politics and corruptness in leadership was unpardonable.
In his address to a tea reception organised in Banepa by the Lions Club, he said that those responsible for burning people alive, abusing women and attacking villagers and women would not get excuse and no stone would be left unturned to bring them to book.
He pledged that according to rule of law no perpetrator would be allowed to walk free.
Minister Baskota took time to call on media to give special attention to discourage criminalisation in politics and corruption in leadership.
In his opinion, it was also the responsibility of social sector to act against criminalisation and corruption which needed to be minimised through combined efforts.
As he said, the government was becoming intolerant to corruption and people's representatives are moving ahead as per the promises they made before the people at times of elections.
