By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 26: Chairman of the newly-formed Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has announced that his party would join the coalition government soon.
"We will be part of the government. The five-party alliance will move further forward. We will not give up communist party and we will move by being a disciplined and cultured revolutionary party," Chairman Nepal said at a press meet held today, a day after CPN (Unified Socialist) was officially recognised by the Election Commission, Nepal, as a political party formed splitting from CPN (UML).
Leader Nepal assured his party would embrace ideology and theory while blaming CPN (UML) chair KP Sharma Oli for giving up Marxist-Leninist theory and exercising autocracy in the UML party.
In his brief review of the Communist movement in Nepal and pledged to move forward with pro-people theory guided by the founder of Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Lal Shrestha. He said his party would pursue a model of socialism suitable for Nepal and that it will not tolerate any group that chants slogans for an individual leader.
Chairman Nepal said his party will also cooperate with the other leftist, nationalist and pro-people forces.
