By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 8: The meeting of the CPN-UML task force formed to resolve the intra-party rift has ended on a positive note.
Subash Chandra Nembang, coordinator of the task force, informed that the meeting was progressively moving forward.
"We will sit for another round of talks in the evening to reach a concrete conclusion," said Nembang.
The task force has been actively holding meetings lately in order to put an end to the disputes with the CPN-UML.
Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had also held talks on Wednesday evening. The Party leaders are hopeful that the disputed factions of CPN-UML would reach an agreement by today.
Meanwhile, leader Gokarna Bista, a member of the task force representing Nepal's faction, said that the meeting had taken positive turns today. "We are close to resolving the intra-party feud," he said.
