By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 8: The meeting of the task force formed to resolve the intra-party feud of CPN-UML is continuing today at Singha Durbar.
Surendra Pandey, a member of the task force, informed The Rising Nepal that the meeting would start at 11:00 in the morning.
"The meeting held between party Chairman KP Sharma Oli and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal on Wednesday evening has increased hopes that the intra-party rift would finally come to an end. Thus, we are trying to reach an agreement today," said leader Pandey.
As both the factions of the party have been sticking to their demands and reservations, it is taking time to reach a concrete decision, Pandey said, adding, "Today's meeting is focused on creating an environment to reach an agreement."
Meanwhile, although the task force has said that they were drafting an agreement between the CPN-UML factions, Chairman Oli and senior leader Nepal are yet to reach to an agreement.
"Focusing on the demands of both the leaders, we are trying to arrange a meeting between Oli and Nepal to reach a consensus," said Pandey.
