By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May. 13: Leaders of the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led faction of CPN-UML have regarded the party's decision to revoke the suspension of four leaders including Nepal as a positive step.
Leader Surendra Pandey said that the CPN-UML's decision to cancel the suspension would aid in strengthening the party's unity.
CPN-UML had suspended senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal, Bhim Bahadur Rawal, Surendra Pandey, and Ghanashyam Bhusal for six months citing that they had worked against the party's betterment.
The meeting of the Standing Committee of the party held today had decided to cancel their suspension.
"To take disciplinary action on the first place was inappropriate. However, as the party has decided to lift the punishment, I believe that this will strengthen the party unity," said leader Pandey.
