CPN-UML Standing Committee Meeting
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May. 2: The meeting of the Standing Committee of the ruling CPN-UML held today at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar has concluded. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Spokesperson of the party Pradeep Kumar Gyawali said, "Discussions for making arrangements for managing additional infrastructures for COVID-19 response including beds, vaccines, equipment, oxygen, and essential medicines."
"Along with this, the meeting has decided to rapidly prepare to prevent and control the spread of the virus in this grave situation of the pandemic," said Gyawali.
The meeting also called all party workers to volunteer in the government's battle against COVID-19.
