By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 17: CPN-UML has called the parliamentary party meeting for 11:00 am on Thursday.
Bishal Bhattarai, chief whip of CPN-UML informed that all members of the parliament were requested to be present in the meeting tomorrow at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar.
Stating that calling a parliamentary meeting while the House of Representatives (HoR) session is ongoing was a regular procedure, chief whip Bhattarai said, "We have also informed the parliamentarians of Madhav Kumar Nepal-led faction about the meeting."
He added, "Even though we haven’t received any response about the meeting from the Nepal-led faction, we are confident that they will attend the meeting."
Meanwhile, some leaders of the Nepal-led faction have said that the possibility of their presence in the meeting was low as their ongoing national party cadres meet will last till Thursday.
